There is no better place for healing to begin then with the telling of a person's story at a funeral, memorial service or celebration of life. It is an honor and a privilege for me to be asked to tell the story and to hold scared space for all people honoring all faiths. My passion is people and their stories. I believe stories help us heal. We are our stories and our stories need to be told, heard and witnessed. It is a legacy we leave for those coming behind us. It is the greatest gift we can give to another. To enter another's sacred space and observe the unique way in which a story heals and transforms is a precious gift.
"When you do things from your soul,
you feel a river moving in you, a joy."
"There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the ground;
there are a thousand ways to go home again."
Jal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi
